Known for her staple coffee shop: EVOKE South Lake Union, located in the 9th & Thomas building; Mikayla is one of Seattle’s youngest restauranteurs having begun the journey at only 19 years old.

Chef Jerard Macalma
Executive Chef
Chef Jerard runs our Back of House with over a decade of cooking experience, having started in the corporate kitchens of JOEY Restaurant Group, to learning under the wing of Chef Jordan Cooper and Chef Jamie Casady at Kirkland’s esteemed DERU Market and Little Brother. He brings wealth of knowledge, humility, passion and play into our kitchen.
Tirzah Kauffman
General Manager
Tirzah leads our team with a passion for people, strategic operations, and looking after our entire House as a whole. With over seven years of industry experience as a barista, server, bartender, and Front of House management,

“Where does your food come from?”
We’re extremely passionate about providing you the freshest and most local ingredients that we can find.
Over 75% of our menu comes directly from Washington farmers and purveyors, and with each season we are working hard to increase that number even higher.
“What about your wine and spirits?”
Being female founded, we are incredibly aware of the lack of representation we as women have in this industry. Therefore, we are actively searching, sipping, and selecting a rotational list of Woman-Owned, Person of Color, and LGBTQ-Owned wines and spirits.
